Uncut praises DEER TICK
Posted: Thursday, July 01, 2010
While the reviews for Deer Tick’s third album, The Black Dirt Sessions came pouring in last month stateside, it’s always nice to see our brother’s from another across-the-pond mother’s throwing in their two-cents.
Especially when those said two-cents come from editor Allan Jones, who notoriously helped push the Smiths into the limelight by putting them on the cover of the magazine Melody Maker back in the 80’s instead of your favorite hitmaker and mine: Kajagoogoo.
You can check out the review for the album HERE or go buy the blimey issue you yanks! They still say blimey right?
In other international news, it is our pleasure to officially announce the newest member to the Deer Tick family, Rob Crowell. Rob is Canadian by birth, but a Tickhead by design and can now be seen on all Deer Tick dates playing the keys and saxophone. Be sure to give him a warm welcome, as you can see him, and the rest of the boys on the road this summer.
