Deer Tick announces DEERVANA show in New York

Deer Tick have finished their latest SXSW run and finished it in rare form.
Performing under the moniker of DEERVANA the band played an hour long set with nothing but Nirvana covers. To say the show was amazing (Brooklyn Vegan) and unforgettable (NBC New York) seems to be an understatement.
So, it is with great pleasure to announce the New York premiere of DEERVANA June 19th at Brooklyn Bowl as apart of the Northside Music Festival.
This will be a night of all Nirvana covers with no Deer Tick songs, so if you are looking for the Tickhead staples, this is not the night for you. But if you are like the rest of us who grew up in between Bleach and In Utero, this is DEFINITELY a show not to be missed.

The band also will be entering the studio this spring to record the follow up to last years Black Dirt Sessions so stay tuned.
