Paleo Zebra

PALEO “A View of the Sky” now available for pre-order

Paleo has been traveling through American since 2005 writing, recording and playing to anyone with an ear to listen to him. In 2005, Paleo, aka David Strackany, self released his debut, Misery, Missouri and began his life on the road. In the years of 2006-2007, he took it upon himself to record one song a day for an entire year, calling it The Song Diary which you can still access HERE. While taking this massive project on, Paleo never stopped traveling and that continues to this day.

A one man machine of writing, recording, booking his own tours and basically living out of his car and staying with friends he has made in all corners of America, it’s hard to get him to ebb. This is why Partisan Records is pleased to announce that Paleo’s first album on a label is with us. Titled A View of the Sky, this is David’s vision of, as he said to the magazine Tape Op in 2008, “A great record”, and we couldn’t agree more.

Being released October 26th, 2010, you can now pre-order the album on CD, 180 Gram black vinyl and 180 gram Limited Edition colored vinyl. You can do all of that right HERE

We are also giving you a small taste of the album as well, as you can download the single “World’s Smallest Violin” below. If you haven’t had a chance to see Paleo yet, please feel free to check out his constantly updating list of tour dates HERE
