Partisan Records Artists: The more you know

We here at Partisan Records pride ourselves in releasing quality music from artists whose drive is to create engaging and ferocious music. Yet as we have come to find, that is not their only avenue of creativity.
As it turns out, several of our artists have taken up some outside endeavors in case their successful music careers don’t pan out (but don’t get your hopes up!).
For starters, it turns out Jesse, aka JBM, is quite the DJ. D-JBM did two sessions, one with Dallas radio station Indie Verse and also helped make a mixtape for American Songwriter. You can check out his hour-long set with Indie Verse HERE and the American Songwriter Five Dollar Mixtape HERE
Then, at this year’s Lollapalooza, John from Deer Tick got his Bob Woodward on and interviewed bands for Brooklyn Vegan under the moniker of Frederico Rasperrini. He took some time to interview surf punk outfit Wavves, as seen HERE and Ryan Olson from the excellent sex jammers, Gayngs, seen HERE
As for Emil Amos, well, he just can’t(read: won’t) find time to sit still. With a new Holy Sons record coming out SOON, playing behind the kit for Om and Grails, Emil is also quite the skilled videographer. What else will we find out about our artists? Will the ladies in Mountain Man start their own super group law firm “Sarle, Meath and Sauser-Monnig”? Have Dolorean actually mastered time travel? Will Paleo challenge James Carville to a heated debate on foreign policy, and win? You’ll just have to keep checking back with us to find out more.
