The World Cafe piece comes as a great start to 2012. In 2011, the band experienced many successes including a licensing sync for their song “Sleigh Bells” for Target’s national holiday TV campaign, video premieres on Rolling Stone and IFC.com, a performance on David Letterman, as well as performances in front of packed crowds at Newport Folk Fest, Bonnaroo, Trans Musicales in France, and more. To top this off, Sallie was named one of USA Today Pop Candy’s “Top 100 People”, and one of Paste Magazine’s “20 Best New Bands of 2012”!
